Wisps of resin, petrol and wood sit atop the mostly white flower and citrus -scented nose. There is fine volume and equally good vibrancy to the nicely mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that exhibit fine length on the balanced finish where the citrus character flashed by the nose reemerges on the clean, dry and focused finale. This too is lovely.
The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Embazées is showing very nicely, exhibiting aromas of pear, orange oil, fresh pastry and toasted nuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively palate that's ripe but precise.
