This stunning NZ Sauvignon Blanc bristles with explosive energy, fragrance, freshness, and purity of fruit, and ranks with the most exciting unoaked Sauvignon Blancs I've ever tasted. In top-notch Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, this sense of coiled-up energy is supplied primarily by the minerality of the chalky soil. Here, it's the un-throttled energy of the Sauvignon Blanc when grown in the rampant sunshine and cool-climate vineyards of the best parts of Marlborough. This wine opens with bright notes of citrus, kiwi, guava, white peach, and white flower on the nose. The palate is a fascinating back-and-forth conversation between the packed-in succulence of Marlborough fruit and the wine's remarkably springy acidity. The wine finishes with great length and a sense of genuine satisfaction. Quite simply, this is great unoaked Sauvignon Blanc at its very peak.

Aromas of peaches, passion fruit and poppy seed. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and fresh mineral undertones. Gentle tannins guide the peachy and tropical palate through to a refreshing finish. Drink now.
A heady perfume of white grapefruit, passion fruit and lemon-lime lead on this attractive Sauvignon. The telltale varietal green herbaceous character is there, too. The palate is dry and balanced with limey, passion fruit freshness straight to the finish. A great example of why this wine style never goes out of fashion.
