Silky, supple, and inviting, the 2021 Cloudline Pinot Noir opens with a fresh bouquet of ripe plum, red cherry, and a hint of currant. On the palate, the soft, juicy Oregon Pinot Noir fruit is spicy, delectable, and refined, with plenty of bounce and verve. Like its sister wines at Domaine Drouhin Oregon and Roserock, I would call this a classic Oregon Pinot Noir with a French accent. There's a great deal of finesse, courtesy of Véronique Drouhin-Boss' Burgundy-trained winemaking style. Oregon is the land of gorgeous fruit of all types, and the summery, red berry and spice fruit jumps from the glass here, making for an ideal summer and all-season Pinot Noir.

The 2021 Cloudline marks the 20th vintage of this beautiful cuvée. Its lustrous garnet color is immediately striking, and aromatics of summery red cherry, red plum, and light warm spice characters leap from the glass. The palate is fresh and fruit-driven to the core.
Part of the Domaine Drouhin Oregon portfolio, the 2021 Pinot Noir from Cloudline is very easy to drink! Medium ruby-purple in the glass, it's scented of cranberries, blackberries and blueberries with touches of tar, mushroom and lavender. Light-bodied, soft and juicy, it offers generous, perfumed fruit and a long, floral finish. It's exported around the world and should be fairly easy to find.
