Expressively cedary and spicy on the nose, 2019 Marjosse offers exceptional refinement for a wine in this class. It rolls across the palate with notes of ripe plum and blackberries, accented by notes of cedar, wild herbs, and crisp minerality, finishing with considerable grip on the finish. Twelve months of aging in 50% new oak barrels provides a finishing sheen of toasted vanilla. Ready to drink now (decant 30 minutes in advance), this will reward short cellaring of 12 to 24 months.

Plenty of berries, walnuts and light dried tobacco and herbs. Medium body, lightly chewy tannins and a flavorful finish
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Marjosse has a come-hither nose of kirsch, stewed black cherries and warm plums with hints of spice cake, wilted roses, oolong tea and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate is plushy textured with bags of scrumptious black and red fruits and a lively backbone, finishing fragrant.
