Cave Spring Description
Subtle yet complex, with scents of white pepper, yellow grapefruit and white flowers over top hints of licorice and chalk. Dry and medium bodied on the palate, with bright yellow plum fruit and crisp acidity up front, a rich yet stony middle and a long, intense finish of grapefruit essence and spice. Tightly strucured throughout, the wine shows tremendous tension and vibrancy.
Wine Spectator: 90 Points
This white is lush and juicy, evoking peach, grapefruit and pine flavors. The fruity character suggests some sweetness, then ends bone dry, echoing the grapefruit note, with a stony accent emerging on the finish. Drink now through 2028.
