Certified organic and following the principles of biodynamic viticulture, this ultra-refined Vino Nobile opens with enticing scents of cranberry, pomegranate, and pressed rose petals. Smooth and savory on the palate, mouthwatering flavors of tangy Morello cherry and red plum are vibrant, concentrated, and focused. They propel the wine to a ringing finish of taut but extremely refined tannins. Delectable now (pull the cork 30 minutes in advance), this wine will age gracefully over the next 3 to 5 years.

The 2018 Nobile de Montepulciano is pretty and understated in the glass, wafting up with a mix of black currants, savory herbs, and warm leather hints. This is round with a balanced inner sweetness, displaying mineral-tinged wild berry fruit and nuances of confectionery spice. The 2018 leaves only the gentle coating of fine tannins while finishing with citrus nuances and a hint of hard red candies. The Avignonesi style lent quite well to this warm and rainy vintage; as a result they created a very delicate yet likable Nobile.
A powerful red, with savory eucalyptus, tobacco and tomato leaf aromas and flavors offset by cherry and plum notes. Beefy tannins set the stage for a lingering, grainy finish. Best from 2024 through 2033.
