| | Created as an experiment by Pine Ridge founder Gary Andrus in the early 1990s, Pine Ridge's innovative blend of Chenin Blanc and Viognier has really ratcheted up the quality in 2010. Though retaining all of the crowd-pleasing charm of the 2009, the 2010 is bigger, bolder, and better in every way. The zingy acidity of the Chenin Blanc has at long last emerged front and center, just as it should, uniting with the juicy stone fruit, peach-floral notes of the Viognier in a delightfully harmonious way. Highly food compatible, this wine is taut, sophisticated, and thoroughly quaffable. |
