This delicate sparkling wine is made from the grape variety of the same name, Prosecco. From the area of Verona in northeastern Italy, Prosecco's popularity has grown dramatically over the last ten years. The Torre Alta is new to CW but is fast becoming our favorite all-purpose sparkler. Perfect for drinking with light food or on its own, it is delicate and refreshing with subtle, clean flavors of white peaches and lime. This is just a terrific aperitif. |
