2010 Rheingau Riesling Wine

Arguably the most complex white variety of all, riesling has intense, often piercing floral and mineral, honey, fresh apple flavors. At its best, riesling has a brilliant balance between fruit and acidity; quite concentrated, rich. Most commonly finished sweet, but also produces fine dry wine, e.g., Alsace riesling. Most famous in Germany with riesling kabinetts, spatlese, auslese, etc.; Alsace riesling; in California labeled Johannisburg Riesling, white riesling, or Rhine riesling. Dry when labeled "early harvest," sweeter when labeled "late harvest."

White Wine

Drachenstein, that’s where Dragonstone comes from. This wine is sportin’ some torque. It has the crazy grip of the vintage, the thickness of fruit and spearmint, plus the kirsch of the site. A really happy wine to drink now, though if past is prologue you can age it for ten years and have a beauty on your hands.
