Maison Louis Jadot produces a Pouilly Fuissé with emerald gold tones which reflect a wine of finesse and distinction; the tasting is harmonious, fresh, full of flavours with hazelnuts, toasted almonds, grapefruit and lemon aromas. It must be served rather cool and goes very well with shellfish, fish, white meat in cream sauce and poultry.
Restrained now, with a touch of finishing dryness, but there is good volume generosity to the fruit, and I like the spiciness and lift of the fruit at the finish. –– Ben Giliberti
A ripe and complex nose of fresh red berry and subtle red currant and earth dissolves into rich, yet muscular wine that, if not quite reference standard Corton Clos du Roi, comes mighty close at ½ the price of some others. The 2010 is actually quite refined for this wine, with deep blue-red fruit and marvelously smooth finish of juicy tannins. –– Ben Giliberti
