| | Francois and Sylvia Cornut s family-owned Mas de Guiot estate is located in the Costi?res de N?mes, the area where the Provence, Rh?ne and Languedoc regions all meet around the mouth of the Rh?ne River. Sylvia is the oenologist, while Fran?ois and their two sons tend to the vineyards. Fran?ois is a true believer in sustainable agriculture, using no synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers on any of his vineyards, which are located on rocky soils similar to Ch'teauneuf-du-Pape. All work is done by hand with great skill and passion. Youthfully fresh and flavorful, this wine explodes on the palate with juicy flavors of sweet blackberries, black cherries, and raspberries, highlighted by notes of lavender and spice. Opulent yet well-structured, it possesses an enticingly plump, silky texture and soft tannins. |
