The Chene Marchand vineyard is located on the western plateau of Sancerre above Bue, where most of Jean Marc’s vineyards are located. Chene Marchand is considered the appellation’s outstanding example of Caillottes terroir, a pebbly, chalky soil that is quite rare in Sancerre. Jean-Marc's 2010 is a textbook Chene Marchand, delicate and perfumed, yet also generous in the mouth.
