In the course of his many travels around the globe, South African golf champ Ernie Els was exposed to many of the world's greatest wines, and soon developed a passion for wine and the people associated with it. In 1999, he decided to pursue this passion with the creation of his own winery, Ernie Els Wines, based in Stellenbosch, the heart of South African wine country. Made from a blend of mostly Shiraz (60%), with the rest being Cabernet, Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault, and Viognier, Big Easy Red is warmhearted, outgoing and robustly fruity, with excellent structure. As with all Ernie Els wines, CW will donate $2.00
to the Els for Autism Foundation for each bottle sold during the last three months of 2012. Please read more
about this wonderful Foundation and our Live Auction on pages 46-47 of our Fall catalog. |
