Description:
This sweet wine from the lovely region of Loupiac (just across the river from Barsac and Sauternes) is owned and made by our friend Catherine d'Allhuin and her husband Thibault. They pour their heart and soul into their wines, and nicer people you will not meet.
Their 2010 has beautiful balance and lovely notes of citrus and orange peel. A very versatile sweet wine that will work as an aperitif, or pair well with cheeses, fish and of course, dessert. Given the quality in the bottle, this is a drop dead bargain!
