A delightful nose that doesn’t push too hard brings strawberries, spiced cherries and a whiff of licorice to the front. The flavors follow, touched ever so lightly with a hint of leather. It turns a little sharp and herbal in the finish, but that may simply be a sign of its youth. |

The 2009 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley was sourced mainly from the Chehalem Mountain AVA. Made from older vines than the Tavola, it is darker in color, more perfumed, and more structured. Even so, it is a laid back, easy-to-understand Pinot with good balance and length that will provide enjoyment over the next 6-8 years. |

| Ripe plum, roses, almond extract, clove and anise stand out in this inviting and ever-changing nose. The full mouth of sweet black cherries balanced with high notes of blueberry and pomegranate finishes with soft and silky tannins. |
