Description:
The wine has a crimson color with purple hues and flavors of violets and blueberries with a hint of ground spice and subtle minerality. It was harvested after extremely dry 2007 growing season when the grapes ripened early due to the higher temperatures, producing lower bunch numbers and small berry size. This smooth, medium-bodied wine will pair well with your favorite lamb dish, baked ham, chicken, and don’t forget spicy ribs on the grill.

| Co-fermented with 3% Viognier, the 2008 Shiraz Viognier displays a deep garnet-purple color and pronounced blackberry and dried leave aromas with a touch of baked fruit, some earth and a whiff of anise. Medium-bodied with medium-firm grainy tannins, it has high acidity and plenty of warm berry fruit in the mouth, finishing long. Drink it now to 2015. |
