2008 Clos du Bois - Merlot North Coast

Following its deep ruby-red color, this Merlot imparts dense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, violet, mocha, red currant, ripe plum, spice and sweet tobacco followed by a velvety texture, good concentration of flavors, including black plum and chocolate with subtle spicy notes from the oak. The nice, rich finish is highlighted by long, supple tannins.
