One of our best sources for southern Rhones must surely be Alain Corcia. He has supplied us with excellent Cotes du Rhones, Gigondas and Chateauneuf du Papes for many years. This 2007 bottling from Chateauneuf du Pape is one of the best we've tried from this fantastic vintage. Sorry, but only a little remains. Received 95 points from The Wine Advocate. |

| Named after Alain Corcia's father, the sublime 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Andre Eleazar boasts a deep ruby/purple color as well as notes of charcoal, grilled meats, smoked duck, blackberries, and cassis. Full-bodied and intense with a terrific finish, this Provencal-styled effort is a sublime example of Chateauneuf du Pape that will drink well for 12-15 years. |
