Bill Hunter - Wine Sales
Bill joined us in September 2010 after many years in the restaurant business. He's managed a few local restaurants throughout the past 20 years and helped develop the wine list at each restaurant. He's a lover of wines from the Northern Rhone Valley and from Loire, as well as wines from Oregon's Willamette Valley.
Pepi Almodovar - Wine Sales
Pepi has been with Calvert Woodley since 1999 but has been in the wine business for at least a hundred years!! He is a valuable member of our team.
Matt Roman - Wine Sales
Matt entered the wine business after many years serving Washingtonians in some of DC's finest restaurants. He enjoys working with customers to find the right wine to match a meal or as the perfect gift. Matt joined us in 2006.
Christina Caswell - Wine Sales
Christina started with us in July 2012. She is a native Austrian who loves introducing customers to wine from her homeland — from the more well-known Grüner Veltliner to Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. In addition, she especially enjoys Argentinian and Spanish wines. An avid food lover and cook, Christina spends many weekends at the DC farmers' markets.
Amy Troutmiller - Wine Sales
Amy joined Calvert Woodley in April 2013 after 16 years in the restaurant business. Originally from the Midwest, she also served as general manager and beverage director of several of DC's top restaurants. A certified sommelier and passionate gastronome, Amy enjoys entertaining and finding the perfect pairing for any occasion.
